The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Electoral Irregularities in Several US States
Washington, Nov 6 (PL) U.S. authorities supervising the presidential election today reported problems or irregularities in the voting process nationwide in various states, with more relevance in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida. Members of the Election Protection Civic Coalition reported that eight hours after the polls were opened on Tuesday, it had received 35.000 calls of complaints from citizens in all 50 states and the District of Columbia .

Cuban Polling Stations Open for Second Round Municipal Elections
Havana, Nov 4 (Prensa Latina) The runoff election for municipal delegates in Cuba began today in 136 of the 168 municipalities in the country, where there are 3, 210 polling stations opened. From 07:00 local time (12:00 GMT) citizens will go to the polls in schools, workplaces and other facilities that have published biographies of the candidates and the list of the voters.

Election Runoff to be held on November 4th
Havana, Oct 31, (RHC), — Cuba will carry out the second round of municipal elections next Sunday November 4th, after they were postponed due to the impact of Hurricane Sandy on most part of the national territory, which was severely hit by strong winds and torrential rains. However the runoff will exclude the provinces of Holguin and Santiago de Cuba, which were the hardest hit by Sandy and where current circumstances impede the celebration of the electoral exercise.

More than 7 million Cubans exercise their voting right: official report
Havana, Oct 21, (RHC), — Until 14:00 local time of Sunday, more than 7 million 244 thousand people had exercised their voting rights in Cuba’s municipal elections, accounting for 82.65 percent of eligible voters. According to a report of the National Electoral Commission (CEN), Sunday’s vote has taken place without any irregularities, with the exception of occasional rains in some part of the national territory

Argentinian General Elections Make History
More than 28 million Argentines on Sunday are called to vote in the general elections, to establish a historic difference between the possible winner, President Cristina Fernandez, and the candidate running for the second place. Artemio Lopez, director of the firm Equis, and Mariel Fornoni, of Management & Fit, agreed in this regard during a meeting with foreigin correspondent in this capital on Thursday.
