The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

President Raúl Castro receives Evo Morales
On the afternoon of Friday, May 20, the President of Cuba’s Councils of State and Ministers, Army General Raúl Castro, received Bolivian President, Evo Morales, on an official visit to the country. Among members of the Bolivian delegation accompanying Morales were the country’s Foreign Minister, David Choquehuanca and Ambassador to Cuba, Palmiro Soria.

Evo Morales to Fulfill Tight Schedule upon Arrival in Bolivia
La Paz, Sep 27 (Prensa Latina) President Evo Morales will return to Bolivia on Thursday, where he will fulfill a tight schedule, including the transference of presidential powers at the Uyuni Airport, in Potosi, where he will arrive in the country.
