Cuban authorities are arranging the preparations for the International Tourism Fair, FitCuba 2018, to be held from May 2 to 6 in the northern keys of Villa Clara province.
The organizing committee of the event, the major fair of the national tourism industry, ‘holds a follow-up meeting of the event,’ the Cuban Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR) posts on its Facebook account today.
The MINTUR also shares images of the Cayo Santa Maria Hotel and highlights it exceeds the 1,500 tourists in its facilities.
Families with children, adults, couples, from Canada, United Kingdom, Italy, among others, enjoy the different attractions of the resort, the note states.
The Caribbean nation stabilizes its visitors’ flows in high season, the text says while highlighting labels such as #CubaDestinoSeguro.
FitCuba 2018 will be dedicated to promote the sun and beach product and the United Kingdom as a guest country.
The celebration of the event in Cayo Santamaria will turn it into a relaunch of that tourist destination to promote its commercialization, according to information posted on the website of the event.
