The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

The use of the medication Heberprot-P with some 290,000 patients, in twenty countries, has demonstrated the possibility of ensuring the healing of open wounds, ischemic ulcers, and those caused by diabetic foot disease, increasing the formation of granulation tissue, and thus reducing the need for amputation.

Cuba: No Infant Mortality in Cienaga de Zapata since 2015
Zero infant and maternal mortality over the past 39 months are today major achievements in the health sector in the municipality of Cienaga de Zapata (Zapata Swamp), the largest and best preserved wetlands in the insular Caribbean. The Zapata Swamp, a wild area south of western Matanzas province and 180 kilometers southeast of Havana.
