The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

Estimates indicate that the Cuban economy did not decline in 2019, another victory over the U.S. blockade

Díaz-Canel: “In difficult times, think differently”

Naval repair industry revives in Cuba with new dock
With today’s delivery of a modern floating dock with the capacity to receive ships of up to 65,000 tons of displacement, Cuba is once again inserted in the international market for naval repairs. The structure will allow the repair of Panamax-type ships and was manufactured within 18 months by the Chinese firm National Machinery Import and Export Corporation (CMC), headquartered in Shanghai.
