The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Raúl Castro receives the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Havana
Army General Raúl Castro Ruz received this Saturday the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, who is on an official visit to Cuba. In the fraternal exchange, both leaders referred to the historic relationship that both countries have maintained since 1960, the year in which diplomatic ties were established. Cuba votes in referendum its new Family Code

Cuban President votes in a referendum on the Family Code

Passing through Belascoain
In 1850 the urbanization of Havana reached the Calzada de Galiano, with which the total urbanized area reached about four square kilometers and the population was around 140,000 inhabitants. They commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Academy of Sciences
Leading academics, scientists and historians of Cuban science met this Friday at the headquarters of the Cuban Academy of Sciences, in Old Havana, in a session in which the 60th anniversary of the institution was commemorated, milestones that marked its history, its innovative projections and the imprint of its first president (1962-1972), Antonio Núñez Jiménez. Doctor of Medical Sciences Luis Velázquez Pérez, president of the ACC, highlighted that the new Academy of Sciences of Cuba, founded in 1962, was the first multidisciplinary scientific institution in the country.

Epidemiological situation continues to be marked by dengue
