As reported in a press conference, interprovincial transportation for the rest of the country remains suspended for the moment.
According to Maribel Poulot Braco, general director of Transportation of Havana, from this first of October mobility in the capital was restored 24 hours a day , while the restriction of mobility of state vehicles within the city was eliminated .
However, the interprovincial service for both state and private carriers (including buses and trains), as well as entry and exit to Havana without authorization issued by the Unit of Procedures of the General Directorate of Transport (UTDGT), remains suspended. .
Likewise, it is forbidden for private vehicles to enter and leave the city without express authorization issued by the UTDGT.
In this sense, the official reiterated that the control remains active in the 12 points of entry and exit of the city for the investigation and verification of authorizations of exits of exceptional cases authorized by the CDP.
For its part, the movement of loads will be carried out without restrictions.
Referring to the operation of urban passenger transportation, Poulot Braco said that as of October 3, 100% of the routes in the urban service will be resumed, which includes the cycle bus. In the case of the boats in the bay, they will not start this weekend.
“The buses will have 100% of the passengers seated and the number of standing passengers will be limited (up to 30 in the Articulated and 20 in the Rigid ones). It is important for the population to know that signs will be placed inside the buses that establish the necessary distance from the passengers standing on board ”.
In the same way, visible stickers are placed on the interior and exterior of the buses where the number of passengers allowed on board is established.
Meanwhile, at the head of the routes, up to 5 standing passengers will be limited in rigid buses and 10 in articulated buses, “which would allow picking up passengers at the next stops.”

For its part, from day 5 the service of Taxis Routers with the GAZelles is resumed on all approved routes in the same conditions as before the suspension. “The APK Ruteros is activated and the service carried out by Cooperativas de Taxis Ruteros is resumed.”
On this date, the support for the Alamar Corridor begins with the route service at peak hours (from 6.30 am to 8.30 am and from 4.00 to 7.00 pm) carried out by the School Transportation Company at a price of 5 CUP.
The support of specialized companies such as TRANSMETRO and Escolares) is also maintained for the main corridors and on return trips, as well as the service of transportation of workers to entities by the TRANSMETRO company that had it before the suspension, with limitation in standing passengers.
