ARMY General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, received Her Excellency Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, on an official visit to the island.
During the cordial meeting, both sides welcomed the conclusion of the negotiation process for a Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and Cuba, while they ratified their willingness to continue working to strengthen bilateral relations based on equality, reciprocity and mutual respect. They also discussed various topics of interest on the international agenda.
The meeting was also attended by Cuban Foreign Minister, compañero Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla.
