The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

Biden extends lead less than a month before election, polls show

Trump puts his security forces at risk and leaves the hospital to greet followers
President Donald Trump wanted to show on Sunday that he is recovering from Covid-19 by briefly showing himself to his followers, an exit too risky for the other occupants of the vehicle, according to medical experts, a day before the possible return of the president to the House White. Surprisingly, a caravan of black vehicles emerged outside the Walter Reed Hospital and from one of the Trump cars, wearing a mask, greeted his supporters gathered outside that establishment on the outskirts of Washington.

Latin American Dentistry Day: Working for a healthy smile
Every October 3, the Day of Latin American Dentistry is celebrated, in memory of the creation of the Latin American Dental Federation (FOLA), on October 3, 1917. In Cuba, Dr. Antonio Recasens Garrido, orthodontist, pediatric dentist, health practitioner and President of the Cuban Dental Society, named after the Library of the Faculty of Stomatology of Havana, was the main promoter of this idea and thus on October 3, 1929, he institutionalized this commemoration in our country.

Aleida Guevara: “Che is back again, with the shield over his arm”
When she was four years old, she saw, in the gloom of Mom’s room, Dad caressing Ernesto’s head, as if he were saying goodbye to the youngest of the children. Tornado in El Berrinche, San Cristóbal, Artemisa

The book “Dialogue with dance”, autobiography of Alicia Alonso, is published in Spain
On the occasion of the centenary of Alicia Alonso , the Cumbres publishing house published in Madrid the book Dialogue with Fance, by the prima ballerina assoluta . The volume becomes an autobiographical record of her eminent career and includes fundamental texts on her artistic concepts from her position as a dancer, choreographer and trainer of the new generations of ballet on the island, stated the Cuban National Ballet (BNC). According to the BNC, this edition deserved the praise of the Codalario magazine.

Trump does not receive oxygen or has a fever due to COVID-19, assures his medical team
The President of the United States, Donald Trump , is not receiving oxygen “currently” or has a fever for 24 hours , said this Saturday the White House doctor, Sean Conley, who assured that the leader is “very well.” However, the AP agency reported, citing a source familiar with the president’s situation, that some of the president’s vital signs in the last 24 hours were “very worrying” and that the next 48 hours will be “critical” for his condition. These same sources indicated that Trump had to receive supplemental oxygen at the White House.

The Governments of Cuba and the United Kingdom promote projects and actions against COVID-19 on the island, according to a note released by the British embassy. According to the text, seven small-scale projects and actions are being carried out in Cuba with funds from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Confirmed: Donald Trump and his wife test positive for COVID-19
Previously, and after the rumors of contagion from the president’s adviser, Judd Deere, a spokesman for the White House, said in a statement: “The president takes the health and safety of himself and all those who they work to support him and the American people. ”
Several White House staff members tested positive for the virus, including Katie Miller, Vice President Mike Pence’s press secretary, national security adviser Robert O’Brien and one of the president’s personal aides.
