The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

Cuba’s new portfolio of foreign investment opportunities presented at FIHAV 2018
Cuba’s portfolio of foreign investment opportunities 2018-2019 contains 525 projects, seeking total financing of over 11.6 billion dollars. On this occasion, added were 168 new projects linked to cattle farming; the food processing, light, chemical, and metallurgical industries; tourism; and mining. Some 104 projects were removed, including those that have been successfully launched; others that have changed their scope or focus; and those being negotiated at this time.

The world condemns U.S. blockade of Cuba in the United Nations
Foreign Minister Rodriguez began his presentation of the resolution shortly before 11:00am, following the interventions of a number of representatives who called for an end to the blockade, including those from Myanmar, Equatorial Guinea, and Grenada.

The blockade: Not only unjust, but also illegal
The people of Cuba have lived, for more than half a century, under the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States, and are marked by this punishment for their “deadly sin.” From the oldest to the youngest, the entire population has suffered its consequences. Cuban Foreign Minister denounces U.S. maneuver to undermine international support for an end to the blockade
