The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Syria denounces that the United States intensifies the theft of its oil
US troops are “stealing” Syria’s natural resources, taking dozens of tanker trucks loaded with national oil out of the Arab country, reports the SANA agency. The “thefts” have intensified in recent days, and only this Sunday morning a convoy of 137 trucks took the hydrocarbon from the oil fields of the Jazira region, in the northeast of the country, to the US military bases in Iraq. The news agency denounces that the looting of crude oil is being carried out in complicity with the opposition militias of the Syrian Democratic Forces, which have the support of Washington.

Syria: Attacks in Damascus Kill one, Damage Infrastructure
Damascus, Mar 26 (PL) At least one student died and others were injured today after several mortars fell at a school in the neighborhood of Bab Sharki, in the so called Old Damascus.Two similar projectiles struck in Tuesday morning in the busy area of Baramkeh, near the headquarters of the news agency SANA, in this capital.Several people were injured and property damage was reported in surrounding buildings and vehicles. Early reports make reference to several people injured and considerable property damage.
