The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

Cuba-Health 2022 concludes: World health experts ratify that there is no social development without health

Havana is once again the capital of health: Cuba Salud 2022 began
After the well-deserved tribute to health and science professionals, whose efforts and commitment to life allowed Cuba to successfully overcome the covid-19 pandemic; the master conference “The government management system based on science and innovation and its implications for health”, given by Dr. C. Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the Republic, inaugurated this afternoon the largest event organized by Cuban public health: the Cuba-Health International Convention 2022.

Opens its doors XV Health for All Trade Fair and I International Fair of Medical Tourism and Well-being
With the opening of the XV Health for All Trade Fair, this October 17 at the Pabexpo site in the Cuban capital, an opportune space was opened to evaluate the current and future challenges of Public Health in the world and continue strengthening commercial ties that contribute to the development of nations. International Transport Fair begins in Havana
Cuban and foreign representatives of the sector participate in the International Transport and Logistics Fair, sponsored by the Ministry of Transport (Mitrans) from today until October 6, in this capital. The event, which takes place at the Pabexpo fairgrounds, brings together for the first time the new Cuban economic actors and guests from more than 10 countries. According to its organizers, another fundamental moment of the Fair will be the Business Round, a space in which the naval, railway and automotive industries will present their main advances.

The 27th International Book Fair has toured the entire Cuban territory. After concluding his Havana chapter last February, the texts traveled throughout the country, with the Fair finally ending on May 13 in the city of Santiago de Cuba.

New tourist offers presented in FitCuba 2018
International tourist arrivals worldwide have been steadily rising by about 3.5-4% over recent years. In Cuba, this figure had reached 16.2% by the end of 2017, representing not only a record for the island but also the difference between the growth of the sector in Cuba as compared to the rest of the Caribbean.

International Fair Analyzes Innovations for Work Designs in Cuba
A new day of business exchanges and exhibitions will characterize today the International Construction Fair in Cuba, FECONS 2018, where, among other issues, innovative design solutions will be addressed.
