Colombian Govt, FARC-EP Resume Dialogue

Colombian FARC-EP and Govt to Preparatory Meeting

Havana, Nov 5 (Prensa Latina) Representatives of the Colombian Revolutionary Armed Forces-People’s Army (FARC-EP) and the Colombian government will meet on Tuesday in this capital to formally prepare the peace talks.The FARC-EP confirmed on Monday to Prensa Latina that the meeting that was previously scheduled for Monday, according to an agreement reached on October 18 in Oslo, the Norwegian capital, was postponed for Tuesday.

In Norway Negotiating Teams for Peace in Colombia

March of the Indignants Takes Streets in Colombia

Bogota, Oct 13 (Prensa Latina) Thousands of Colombians took to the streets of the capital to close a week in which various sectors of society claimed in favor of peace and against social inequities such as poverty, exclusion and the crisis in education and health. Colombia Approves Draft Bill for Possible Peace Talks

Bogota, May 16 (Prensa Latina) The House of Representatives of Colombia approved a draft bill to establish a legal peace framework in the country for a possible negotiation with armed groups on the margin of the law. The draft bill was ratified by 126 votes in favor and four against. It should be now debated in the Senate of the Republic.
