The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

Cuba, Norway to Maintain Support to Colombian Peace Process

Cuba and Norway reiterated their willingness to contribute to the construction of a stable and lasting peace in Colombia, through talks between the guerrilla and the government of the South American government taking place here. Both sides called the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-People’s Army (FARC-EP) and the government to continue efforts in the discussion of pending issues, including the adoption of an agreement for a definitive bilateral ceasefire and hostilities.

FARC Reaffirms Commitment to Land Access in Colombia
