The First Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, received His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, who is on an official visit to the island, on Monday afternoon.
Both authorities ratified the good state of bilateral relations and the possibilities of cooperation in the economic, commercial and financial sectors. They also discussed other issues of interest on the international and regional agenda.
Accompanying the distinguished visitor were Mohammed Al Khaja, director of the Foreign Minister’s Office; Bader Al-Matrooshi, appointed ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Cuba, and Rowda Al Otaiba, director of the Department of American Affairs of the Foreign Ministry.
