Central Committee Plenum of the Communist Party of Cuba convokes 7th Congress

The Eleventh Plenum of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee agreed July 14 to hold the 7th PCC Congress on April 16, 2016, the 55th anniversary of the proclamation of the socialist character of the Cuban Revolution and the date our Party was founded. Delegates to the event will evaluate the fulfillment of agreements reached at the 6th Congress and the First National Conference; define the path forward to continue perfecting Cuba’s economic and social model; and elect members of the Central Committee.
