Minsk, Feb 26 (Prensa Latina) The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Raul Castro on Tuesday on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself on his reelection as president of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba.
“I am confident that, under his leadership, Cuba will continue its decisive and consistent way in order to safeguard the economic and social achievements of the Revolution, defend national interests and moral values in the international arena,” said the president in a message.
Lukashenko underscored the depth and fraternal relations between Minsk and Havana and said he hopes to expand bilateral cooperation based on mutual understanding and trust, concludes the Belarusian government official statement.
