Argentine, Angola, Diversify Commercial Exchange

Luanda, May 21 (Prensa Latina) Argentina and Angola are working to diversify their actual commercial exchange with a balance of trade, favorable to the South American country, a diplomatic source asssessed here on Monday.

Ambassador of Argentina, Juan Agustín Caballero, told the press that the bilateral turnover amounted to 230 million dollars, mainly related to agriculture and food, he affirmed. Caballero said that opening a credit line of $ 100 million announced by the Argentina’s President, Cristina Fernandez, will promote business collaboration, within the SSC, reported Angola’s Jornal.

In assessing the results of the recent exhibition in Luanda of products and technological systems of the South American country, the diplomat commented that there were contacts and businesses in areas such as food and agricultural industry.

400 Argentinian companies participated in the Fair presenting products, equipment and technology in branches such as industrial machinery, footwear, textiles, appliances, food and agriculture.

The exhibition was opened last Friday by Fernandez, who made a two-days official visit to this African country.
