The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

French Festival in Cuba to Screen 14 Films
The 21st French Film Festival will premiere 14 contemporary French feature films from April 11th to 22nd, said organizers of the event. The festival has scheduled more than 100 screenings during two weeks, which totals 24 productions that include three documentaries, five classic feature films and one cartoon.

Director of Cuban Sports Tours Asia To Pave the Way for Olympic Games
Cuban sport”s top leader Antonio Becali spent the first of two days here during which he will explore the possibilities of preparation of the island”s delegation to the 2020 Olympic Games in Japan. Becali expects both to train professional athletes here, and to expand cooperation in sports; thus he met with Le Khanh Hai, the vice minister that handles Sports within the portfolio also in charge of Tourism and Culture, with promising results.
