The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

Confirmed: The Rolling Stones to play in Cuba
In a press release issued March 1, legendary British rock band the Rolling Stones confirmed the news everyone had been waiting for: that they will play a free concert in Havana’s Ciudad Deportiva on March 25. The symbolic show will be a landmark event for both Cuba and the British group, set to perform for an audience who have been dreaming of seeing the world’s greatest rock band perform live for more than 40 years, not to mention the fact that it represents one of the most transcendental music events to take place in the country for the last 50 years.

The Rolling Stones to play in Havana
Keith Richards himself, currently in Paris, has confirmed that negations with Cuban authorities are taking place. The Stones guitarist, celebrating the release of his third solo album, Crosseyed heart, also reported that after the opening of U.S. and Cuban embassies in both countries, and the Pope’s upcoming visit, there is a genuine chance that the band could perform in Cuba.
