The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Venezuela Thanks NAM for Confidence on Next Summit

Tehran, Aug 31 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela’s Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro thanked the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) today for its vote of confidence in the Bolivarian Republic as host for the 2015 meeting of heads of state. Speaking at the XVI summit meeting that is concluding today in Tehran, Maduro said location of the next meeting in Caracas will take place at a particular historical moment amidst a renewed desire for emancipation of the developing nations.
