Vice President of Angola pays tribute to Cuban internationalists

As part of an official visit to Cuba, Domingos Vicente laid flowers at the Pantheon to Cuban Internationalists killed inAngola. He also toured the Mausoleum located in Havana’s Colon Cemetery, accompanied by Brigadier General Delsa Esther Puebla, of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution, among other members of the organization and government officials.

Angolan and Cuban Vice Presidents hold official talks

During their meeting, the leaders discussed the excellent bilateral relations shared by the two countries and emphasized the historic nature of the friendship between their peoples and governments. They reviewed progress in the development of cooperation in the areas of health, education, construction and the military, while additionally addressing a number of international issues.

World War II broke out on September 1, 1939 when Nazi-fascist troops invaded Poland and struck like a lightning over the heroic people of the USSR, who contributed 27 million lives to preserve mankind from that brutal massacre that ended the lives of 50 million persons.
