The Giant With Seven-league Boots (part I)

The Giant With Seven-league Boots (part I)

I learned it from Aristotle, the most famous philosopher in the history of mankind. Human beings are capable of working either the most wonderful deeds or the worst inequities. Their amazing intelligence enables them to use the inalterable laws of nature to do right or wrong. Back in the days when our armed struggle was developing in the mountains of Cuba, in the great Mexican nation -seen by all Cubans as something of their own-, being less experienced that I am right now, I lived through an ephemeral but unforgettable period of time during which all wonders concentrated in a single place of the Earth.

Israel Will Not Be The First To Attack

Israel Will Not Be The First To Attack

The former CIA officers Phil Giraldi and Larry Johnson; W. Patrick Lang, of the Defense Intelligence Agency Special Forces; Ray McGovern, of the Office of Naval Intelligence and the CIA, as well as other top officials who have accumulated many years of service are right when they warn Obama that the Prime Minister of Israel has planned a blitzkrieg with the aim of forcing the United States into a war against Iran.

A Challenge To The Us President

A Challenge To The Us President

You should know that it is in your power to offer humankind the only real possibility of peace. Only once will you be able to make use of your prerogatives to give the order to open fire. It is quite possible that later on, after this traumatic experience, the solutions found will not lead us again to this apocalyptical situation. Every citizen in your country, even your worst left wing or right wing adversaries, will most certainly appreciate it, as will the people of the United States, which is in no way to blame for the situation created.

The Strategic Victory

The Strategic Victory

In a few days the book, under the title “The Strategic Victory,” in which I recount the battle the small Rebel Army waged against extermination, will be published. I begin with an introduction explaining my doubts about the title I would give it “… I did not know whether to call it ‘Batista’s last offensive’ or ‘How 300 defeated 10, 000,’ which might have seemed like a science fiction story.

The Other Tragedy

The Other Tragedy

In the meeting I had with the economists of CIEM (World Economy Research Center) on Tuesday, July 13, I talked to them about an excellent documentary film by the French director Yann Arthus-Bertrand which includes statements by the most farsighted and well informed international personalities about another terrible danger threatening the human species that is cropping up right before our eyes: the destruction of the environment.

The Source Of Wars

The Source Of Wars

Obama intends to mislead the world talking about a world free of nuclear weapons that would be replaced with other extremely destructive weapons designed to terrorize the leaders of other States and to accomplish the new strategy of complete impunity. The Yankees believe that Iran will soon surrender.

An Impossible Happiness

An Impossible Happiness

The poor peoples of the world, which cannot be blamed for the terrible mess created by imperialism, located as they are in this hemisphere south of the United States, and others in the west, center and south of Africa, as well as others on the planet who might be left untouched by the nuclear war, are left with the only option of coping with the consequences of the catastrophic nuclear war that will break out very soon.

Knowing The Truth Timely

Knowing The Truth Timely

The American society is the least prepared to endure a catastrophe like the one the empire has created in the same territory where it started. We don’t know which will be the effect on the environment of the nuclear weapons that will unavoidably explode in various parts of the world, and that in the least serious variant will happen in abundance. As for me, to advance a hypothesis would be pure science fiction.

I Would So Much Like To Be Wrong

I Would So Much Like To Be Wrong

The sports enthusiasm grows constantly attracting hundreds of millions or perhaps even billions of people worldwide. But, we should be wondering how many are aware that from June 20 US warships, including the aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman, escorted by one or more nuclear submarines and other warships carrying missiles and cannons more powerful than the old battleships used during the last World War between 1939 and 1945, have been moving towards the Iranian coasts via the Suez Canal.

The Inescapable Conflict

The Inescapable Conflict

Who are increasingly complaining if not the workers, the professionals, those rendering services to the population, the retirees, the unemployed, the street children and the people lacking the most basic education who make up the majority of the nearly seven billion inhabitants of the planet whose crucial resources are clearly depleting?
