The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

Brazil: Final Text Approval to Mark End of Rio+20 Summit
Rio de Janeiro, Jun 22 (Prensa Latina) The United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, Rio+20, will conclude today with the approval of the final document, criticized by many presidents and termed by others as the best possible. The final text was the result of a consensus reached among negotiators on Tuesday, a day before the beginning of the high-level session. It received fierce criticism by environmentalists and civil entities that called it a little ambitious, frustrating and disappointing.
