Cuban President Raul Castro on Monday sent a message of condolences to his Ecuadorian counterpart Rafael Correa after the 7.8 quake that caused over 270 deaths and more than 2 thousand injured in the South American country.
Please, receive my deepest condolences, which I extend to the relatives of the victims and the Ecuadorian people, as well as our solidarity, said Raul in his message.
Raul told Correa “you can always count with Cuba´s collaboration,”
The earthquake ravaged several cities and settlements in the north-western Ecuadorian coast on Saturday.
