Air France Airline Proposes Additional Paris-Havana Flight

francia_air_franceAir France airline will propose an additional flight Paris-Havana, with which flights to that destination will increase to 11 per week, it was reported today.

The offer will be available as of October this year, according to a statement released by the entity.

The company operates a daily flight from the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport in a Boeing 777-300 with a capacity for 468 passengers during the summer season, reinforced by four additional weekly flights in winter 2015.

Executives from Cubana de Aviacion and Air France expressed in Havana their interest to reinforce trade ties between the two companies, in a Memorandum of Understanding on Trade Cooperation signed by both airlines.

Executives from the island’s company stated at that time that protocol is part of a process for mutual benefit relations.

The Memorandum covers more possibilities of collaboration in the future, strengthening the existing routes between Cuba and France, as well as the participation in joint projects to develop mid and long-term other high-demand destinations as the Caribbean islands, they detailed.
