Havana, Jan 13 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Raúl Castro met on Saturday with Venezuelan Executive Vice President Nicolás Maduro and other politicians from that South American country at the protocol hall of the Jose Marti International Airport in this capital.
According to an official press release, Raúl Castro met with Maduro and the leader of the National Assembly and vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello.
The Cuban leader also met Venezuelan Vice President Rafael Ramírez, who is also the chairman of the oil company PDVSA, and Attorney General Cilia Flores.
Cabello and Ramírez were welcomed at the airport by Maduro and Flores, as well as by Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez.
