The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

Articles of Reflections by Fidel
Am I Overdoing It?
I was stunned to realize to what extent education could be distorted and prostituted in a country with more than 8 000 nuclear weapons and the most powerful means of war in the whole world.
The World Government (part II)
In Part II of this Reflection I have included quite a few lines of the final part of his book. They explain his contempt against the hateful Bilderberg Club. It is terrible to think that the intelligence and the feelings of children and youth in the United States could be mutilated in such a way. We have to struggle now to prevent them from being pushed into a nuclear holocaust, we should help them recover as much as possible their physical and mental health and figure out the ways in which human beings could be freed forever from such a terrible fate.
The World Government (part I)
I was referring to writer Daniel Estulin. A total of 475 pages, 20 lines each, would be awaiting my review of the fantastic story narrated by the aforementioned author if any of the participants in that meeting dared to deny its presence there of its participation in the events described in the book.
The United Nations, Impunity And War
I’m not sure how many noticed that among other absurdities, the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon, fulfilling orders from above, committed the blunder of appointing Alvaro Uribe (when he was about to complete his mandate) as vice president of the commission to investigate the Israeli attack on the humanitarian fleet carrying essential food to the besieged population in the Gaza Strip. The attack occurred in international waters and at a considerable distance from the coast.
The Giant With Seven League Boots (part Two)
I will be faithful to the principles and ethics that I have practiced since I became a revolutionary. Today I am honored to share the views of Manuel López Obrador, and without the slightest doubt, much sooner than he imagines, everything will change in Mexico.
The Giant With Seven-league Boots (part I)
I learned it from Aristotle, the most famous philosopher in the history of mankind. Human beings are capable of working either the most wonderful deeds or the worst inequities. Their amazing intelligence enables them to use the inalterable laws of nature to do right or wrong. Back in the days when our armed struggle was developing in the mountains of Cuba, in the great Mexican nation -seen by all Cubans as something of their own-, being less experienced that I am right now, I lived through an ephemeral but unforgettable period of time during which all wonders concentrated in a single place of the Earth.
Israel Will Not Be The First To Attack
The former CIA officers Phil Giraldi and Larry Johnson; W. Patrick Lang, of the Defense Intelligence Agency Special Forces; Ray McGovern, of the Office of Naval Intelligence and the CIA, as well as other top officials who have accumulated many years of service are right when they warn Obama that the Prime Minister of Israel has planned a blitzkrieg with the aim of forcing the United States into a war against Iran.
A Challenge To The Us President
You should know that it is in your power to offer humankind the only real possibility of peace. Only once will you be able to make use of your prerogatives to give the order to open fire. It is quite possible that later on, after this traumatic experience, the solutions found will not lead us again to this apocalyptical situation. Every citizen in your country, even your worst left wing or right wing adversaries, will most certainly appreciate it, as will the people of the United States, which is in no way to blame for the situation created.
The Strategic Victory
In a few days the book, under the title “The Strategic Victory,” in which I recount the battle the small Rebel Army waged against extermination, will be published. I begin with an introduction explaining my doubts about the title I would give it “… I did not know whether to call it ‘Batista’s last offensive’ or ‘How 300 defeated 10, 000,’ which might have seemed like a science fiction story.
The Other Tragedy
In the meeting I had with the economists of CIEM (World Economy Research Center) on Tuesday, July 13, I talked to them about an excellent documentary film by the French director Yann Arthus-Bertrand which includes statements by the most farsighted and well informed international personalities about another terrible danger threatening the human species that is cropping up right before our eyes: the destruction of the environment.
