The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

First post-COVID tourists arrive in Jardines del Rey
Visitors express a high degree of satisfaction, during their first hours at the Pullman Cayo Coco Hotel. A Cuban nurse saves an Algerian infant
The infant is safe, he will not be among the 15,000 children under five years of age who are dying everyday of poverty and curable diseases, according to UNICEF. The largest field hospital in Venezuelan history can count on Cuba’s solidarity
The Caracas Polyhedron sports arena, now the largest field hospital in Venezuelan history, is treating COVID-19 patients as part of the Bolivarian government’s effort to address the pandemic, according to Delcy Rodríguez, the country’s Executive Vice President, who added that the facility which opened August 2 has a capacity of 1,200 beds, with 300 in individual cubicles, to provide free, quality health care.
