The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

How many times have we questioned why the same product has different prices in the market? An example would suffice to illustrate this. For this reason, unification, although definitely no magic wand in appearance or behavior, should contribute to homogenizing current methods of price formation and eliminating distortions that affect both internal and external commerce, and the enterprise system.

Havana celebrates with tribute to Eusebio Leal
President of the Republic Miguel Díaz-Canel attended the gala celebration last night of the 501st anniversary of the Villa de San Cristóbal in Havana, at Martí Theatre, where the capital city’s government and the City Historian’s Office paid a heartfelt tribute to Eusebio Leal.
The Presidency’s Twitter account reported that the event featured the creations of prolific pianist and composer José María Vitier, accompanied by the interpretative excellence of the Niurka González on flute, violinist Javier Cantillo and soprano Bárbara Llanes.

Cuban President: We believe in the possibility of a constructive bilateral relationship that respects differences
Cuban President, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, on November 8 referred to the electoral result in the United States, where Democrat Joe Biden emerged victorious, after defeating Donald Trump. “We recognize that, in their presidential elections, the people of the United States have opted for a new direction. We believe in the possibility of a constructive bilateral relationship that respects differences,” the Cuban leader wrote on Twitter.
