Some 70 million people in the United States are suffering this week from the polar cold resulting from a wave of low pressure coming from Canada and pushing cold air south. The cold air will imply low temperatures mainly in the mornings and at nights, both for the Midwest, South and East of the country. The winter in the middle of autumn has led since Monday to temperature records 15 to 25 degrees below what is normal for this time, according to the head of meteorology for Telemundo Noticias, Carlos Robles.
