The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

Havana Ballet Festival will begin on October 20
From October 20 to November 13 of this year, the 27th Alicia Alonso International Ballet Festival of Havana will be held, which, precisely starting on the Day of Cuban Culture, will begin the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the National Ballet of Cuba, which will last until the last months of 2023. Four Cuban Dancers among the World’s 100 Best
Cuban dancers Viengsay Valdés, Alejandro Virelles, Dani Hernández and Osiel Gounod were selected among the best 100 dancers of the 2010-2011 season by the prestigious Dance Europe magazine, confirmed to Prensa Latina sources of the National Ballet of Cuba. In the magazine’s top 100, Valdez has the 4th place of female dancers and the 6th place of the world list; meanwhile Hernadez has the 16th place, Virelles the 18th and Gounod the 21st.
