The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

Vietnamese Leader Highlights Fidel Castro’s Legacy in Cuba

Vietnamese political leader Nguyen Duc Loi highlighted today in this capital the legacy of social justice and solidarity represented by the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro. Fidel became a symbol of revolutionary heroism, of rebellious ideas and of aspirations for freedom and happiness, said the member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party.

More Than 430 Delegates Attend the 24 th Sao Paulo Forum in Cuba

The inauguration of the meeting was held in the Convention Palace, presided over by the second secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, and gathered more than a hundred left-wing and progressive parties and organizations from Latin America and the Caribbean.
