Earthquake of 3.4 Richter degrees affected Santiago de Cuba and Guantanamo at dawn

An earthquake of magnitude 3.4 on the Richter scale has alarmed thousands of residents of the cities of Santiago de Cuba and Guantánamo in the early hours of this Sunday, August 28. Being 1:46 a.m. there were not a few inhabitants who jumped out of bed, or those who were frightened in the midst of the darkness in which many lived in silence due to the scheduled blackout. The epicenter of the tremor was located 40 kilometers southwest of Caimanera, at a depth of 21 kilometers.
