Anti-communist propaganda based on manipulating terms like “democracy,” “human rights” and “freedom” has expanded its repertory with certain expressions about Cuba based on a fabricated image, which are strewn across on the Internet as common knowledge. In Biology class, I don’t remember if it was in middle or high school, we learned about conditioned reflexes based on the work of the Russian scientist and Nobel Prize winner in Medicine, Ivan Pavlov.

With the presence of the President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, the Third International Symposium: The Cuban Revolution, genesis and development, concluded debates in Havana’s Conventions Center with a focus on Fidel Castro and Juan Bosch. Closing day, also attended by Víctor Gaute López, member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat and head of its Ideological Department, featured presentations on the thought and work of the Comandante en Jefe, including those by MSc René González Barrios highlighting Fidel’s internationalism; Fidel and the United States, by Dr. Elier Ramírez Cañedo; and Fidel and Justice, by Katiuska Blanco Castiñeira.
