The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

Cuban Foreing Ministry strongly rejec discrepetful interference by State Department
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba strongly rejects the disrespectful statement issued by the US State Department, attributed to Secretary of State Michael Pompeo, which intends to question the constitutional referendum that was freely and sovereignly held by all Cubans on February 24 last.

The world condemns U.S. blockade of Cuba in the United Nations
Foreign Minister Rodriguez began his presentation of the resolution shortly before 11:00am, following the interventions of a number of representatives who called for an end to the blockade, including those from Myanmar, Equatorial Guinea, and Grenada.

Once again, the UN General Assembly debated the draft resolution presented by Cuba calling for an end to the U.S. blockade. Despite U.S. attempts to sabotage the annual debate and pressure other nations to vote against Cuba – through the submission of eight ridiculous amendments to the text – this October 31 saw a wealth of nations express their support for Cuba and condemn this criminal, genocidal policy.
