The El Paso Diary is written by José Pertierra--an attorney who represents the government of Venezuela in its request for the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles. Pertierra´s journals describe the testimony, evidence, legal skirmishes, quirks and follies of this very historic trial that features for the first time the close collaboration of the United States government with Cuban authorities to prosecute an ex CIA agent who is one of the masterminds of the fifty-year old dirty war against Cuba.

Ricardo Alarcón: Truth Held Hostage
A talk delivered at the Cuban University of Information Sciences (UCI), Havana, July 20, 2011. Translation by Mara Ochoa “There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.” (Luke 12:2) To start out, from a juridical standpoint the case of the Cuban Five has run its course.
A Brilliant and Courageous Statement
Now the external and internal enemies of Hugo Chávez are at the mercy of his words and his initiatives. Without a doubt there shall be surprises in store for them. Let us wish him our most steadfast support and trust. The lies of the empire and the treason of the quislings shall be defeated. Today there are millions of militant and aware Venezuelans who shall never be made to submit to the oligarchy and the empire.

Havana, this beloved and heroic Havana, on June 30, 2011. I tell you from the great homeland, from my heart, from my whole soul, from my supreme hope which is the hope of the people, now and forever. We will live and win. Thank you very much. Until my return.

European and American exploiters, using UN resolutions (but ignoring others) and NATO as fig leaves, rain death and desolation, in
