I could not agree more with the comments made by companero Ricardo Alarcon that we are still very far away from building a million upon millions of ordinary peoples movement in soldiarity with the Cuban Five. But I am very positive in believing that it is possible espeically when the youth are involved to correct this injustice imposed on the Cuban Five for the past 13 years and the denial of visitation rights to Olga Salanueva and Adirana perez who cannot visit their husbands Rene Gonzalez and Herardo Gernandez respectively.

But in order to build the movement we have to co-ordinate our punching lines when organizing activities in solidarity with the Cuan Five. For instance if the documentary Will the Real Terrorist Please Stand Up! becomes available we have to find a way when all the interested people/organizations are able to obtain a copy immediately so that we all speak the same tune and globally push the buttons!
Or when the artistic works of Gerardo Hernandez or Antonio Guerrero are being displayed in the U.S. exhibition centres; there shall be a way that we in other countries have access to such works immediately and/or be informed where we could download the digital formats of such works and it goes on all the aspects of the solidarity work.
Let’s go about organizing a truly global encouner of the friends of the Five from Nobel Prize winners to intellectuals to religous leaders to labour leaders to … .Like in Nov. 2000 in Havana!
